Another challenge site I found

My mojo was a bit low so off a hunting I went
Found an aussie site called Scrapjacked and found some great inspiration there
I 'jacked' (hmm not sure if thats a good term for it lol) THIS LO by Christine
I used pebbles pp and a couple of AC bits too the letter stickers are from my nook kit this month
I loved the wobbly scallop border at the bottom and just had to include that in my lift

Jan Nook kit

This month the kit featured Fancy pants "Hot Chocolate" pp and it rather yummy
This is my first LO using the kit and this month there were 2 die cut papers, which |I usually place to one side and think I will use that for a special pic, but I decided to be daring in my new regime and used it right away (doen't mean to say that this pic of Rodders in the snow isn't special)
I used a Martha Stewart punch for the snowflakes and some button centers with twine knots. I misted the snowflakes behind the punched ones(don't know if you can see that) and some flicking of the mists too
Hope you like

CCG 176

The palette this week is a combo of my fave colours and these BG Granola papers are some of my faves too, I have used them quite a lot which is unusual for me.
The prompt was to use clouds but I think these pics represent them as in our heads are in the clouds! (made sense in my head lol)
Here is the LO

and here was the inspiration board

Kraft it up challenge

The challenge this month was to use a 'summer' word in your title and a summer pic
Hence the "Hot Dood" title and the pic of Rodney panting last summer.
I used AC pp & thickers, my new EK Success pawprint border punch. I made a little ribbon flower with a button center and a few other bits from my stash

Scrapaholix & Circa 1934 Cosmo cricket!!

I already had these papers by Cosmo Cricket but they are just so lush and easy to work with that I was excited to use them.
Much to most peoples amazement(including mine) I completed 2 LO's today.
Black & White pics work so well that I used them on both layouts.
Had a fab day the girls are just such a great bunch ( & I know some will be reading this so . . . . . LOL) And look at the Fab 'flicking a la beks'!!!

Leon was such a chubby chops lol

My beautiful Grandparents ( look how completely in love they are in that pic) . I just adore this pic of them and have scrapped it twice now, the first LO I gave to my 94 year old Grandad for christmas in a box frame (will share a pic when I get a good one of it)
I'm in a very positive mood today so sorry for waffling on

Cute lil RockStar

Went off looking for inspiration yesterday and loved this sketch over at PageMaps
and here is my take on it
I used some of the elements from my american crafts kit that I had for xmas, the stitching was a template (not sure of the manufacturer) stars cut on the bigshot and some bakers twine (I am addicted to the stuff lol) the BG cardstock is from a papermania stack that I bought a few years ago and the Heart ticket is a freebie download from the house of 3

Color Combos Galore

I was asked to be featured member over at CCG this week. How cool is that?
I was given the inspiration board to create a LO from and boy I struggled the colours were good but it was a focus on the word Comfort and my brain went blank!
But I came up with this and wasn't the most pleased with it but it is fresh and clean looking. What do you think?
